About Dawn Whitney
My expertise has clearly been within the "services" industry versus selling a "product", yet the key principle of strategy, client development, account penetration and leadership are tied to both. A strong and articulate trainer can teach you or your staff to sell, close and build business in any industry or market.
My approach and style of training is interactive, hands-on and highly energetic. I am passionate about helping to create a successful sales team, as I know very well what it is like to be a part of a good one versus a "not so good one".
I have worked in every aspect of sales from the Receptionist to the Sales Vice President of a National organization and in each role, the same rules apply. You must embody trust, integrity and respect within yourself, your team and ultimately, your client. If you are not genuine in your actions and words, you may get that first sale, but you’ll never get the next one. Your teams may follow you at first, but eventually there will be dissension in the ranks. You will be scratching your head wondering, why aren’t things consistent? Why are people leaving the company? Why is my client using a competitor?
